How is the Wedsly Planner app interactive?
The Wedsly Planner app will notify you when you reach a new milestone, when it’s time to focus on new tasks or when a task is overdue. You can modify your progress as you go along and easily update your checklist or share ideas with your partner at any time.
Can I customize my wedding checklist and budget?
Yes! Simply add a task or a budget item by clicking “add task/budget item” directly from the budget and checklist screens. Your checklist and budget are completely customizable and can be modified at any time during the planning process.
How do I add guests from a file?
To upload guests from a file to your Wedsly guest list, use our spreadsheet template. When you have completed the template, make sure to save or export it in .xlsx format on your device.
Can I invite other people besides my partner to plan in the Wedsly Planner?
Currently, you can only invite your partner. We are working on this feature for a future release of the app.
How do I contact Wedsly Customer Support?
Email us at support@wedsly.com. Please include your login email, wedding date, and details about your issue or question. Screenshots are always helpful for our support team to better understand your inquiry.
Who has access to my wedding data?
Only you and Wedsly have access to your data. Your data is protected by Wedsly in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Where can I find the Terms and Conditions?
You can read the Terms and Conditions here or in the app, go to More > Settings > scroll down to Terms and Conditions.
Gift List
In the gift list, you can add all your gifts and your guest can collaborate on buying different gifts. The gifts other guests have bought, will show as reserved. Guests can also use the guest interface in the guest list, to mark gifts that they want to buy in collaboration with other guests, and make it easier to buy shared gifts. Great for the more expensive gifts. All this information about reserved, bought and shared gifts are off course only shown to guests, the bride and groom will not be able to see this information.
Bachelorette & bachelor parties
A bachelorette & bachelor party is an optional special sub-event to a wedding.
When enabled, the bride and groom, will by default not get access to any of the content within the bachelorette & bachelor party feature, as it is expected to be a surprise party. A bachelorette & bachelor party organiser may change this, by adding bride or groom to the party list.
The first guest who clicks either the bachelorette & bachelor party icon, will be asked if they want to become the organiser of the party, while warning them, that they are now accepting the responsibility of arranging the party and the responsibility of inviting the other guests they believe should attend. The app makes it very easy for them, as it will list all the guests the couple invited to the wedding, allowing the organiser to select the right bachelorette & bachelor party members, without knowing their contact details.
After the party organiser have accepted to become organiser, the bachelorette & bachelor party icon disappears in the app for guests, and only those added or invited to the bachelorette & bachelor party can access the planning and communication.
The party members can now chat with each other and collaborate about planning the party.

Are there any ads in the app?
No, the Wedsly Planner app is completely ad-free. We believe that wedding planning should be simple, beautiful and without distractions, which is why we have chosen not to include ads.
Can I use Wedsly for anything other than weddings?
Yes, Wedsly also works great for your copper wedding, silver wedding, golden wedding and other big events. Christenings and confirmations are other examples. And even for smaller birthdays, the invitation system alone will make things easier for you.
What is the Checklist and how do I use it?
The Checklist in Wedsly is your personal wedding to-do list, designed to guide you through every step of planning your big day. We’ve already pre-filled it with the most important wedding tasks so you don’t have to start from scratch, you’ll always know what to do next. Here’s how you can make the most of it:
- Customize Every Task: Simply click on any task to edit the details, set due date, or add notes. This way, each task is tailored to your unique wedding plans.
- Add Your Own Tasks: Every wedding is different! Use the “Add To Do” button to create custom tasks that fit your specific needs.
- Swipe Between Months: Slide left or right to move through the months and get a clear view of what’s coming up. This makes it easy to stay ahead of schedule.
- View Tasks by Grouping: Choose how you want to see your tasks. You can group them by date, category (like catering, decoration, or venue), or by status (done/not done). This flexibility helps you stay organized in the way that works best for you.
With the Checklist, you’ll always have a clear roadmap of what’s done and what’s left, making wedding planning smooth, stress-free, and actually enjoyable.
